Aiday Luckett is a Founder of Lakeview Trade. She has 10+ years of experience in finance and strategic planning for profit and non-profit organizations, from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. Aiday was the Controller for North America, at Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, a $20B+ multinational conglomerate. She has also worked in various financial capacities at Exxon Mobil. At Gateway Foundation, a non-profit organization, she worked with the President and Executive Directors on financial and strategic development. She also worked at the Consulate General of Turkey in Houston, bringing together businesses and foreign leaders. She holds MBA in Finance from University of Houston. In addition, she has an M.S. in Marketing from Dokuz Eylul University (Turkey), and M.S. in Quality Control from University of Economics (Kyrgyz Republic). She is fluent in Russian, Turkish, English, and Kyrgyz. Her next goal is to learn Spanish language and her life motto is “Dream Big, Work Hard and Never Give Up”.
Loong Chen is an investment professional who brings over 19 years of experience in asset management and capital markets. He was the Director of Research at Silverpath Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund focused on real assets. Previously, he was a Partner at Coghill Capital Management LLC, a long/short hedge fund focused on small cap equities. He was instrumental in the firm’s growth to more than $750 million in assets under management, including leading the firm’s London office. Prior to this role, he was a Mergers & Acquisitions investment banker at Dain Rauscher Wessels (now RBC Capital Markets). Loong received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and dual degrees in business (BS, The Wharton School) and engineering (BSE), cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ron Bass is a retired energy executive. He began his career as an operations research analyst for eight years with US Government Executive office of the President and Treasury Department in Washington, D.C., and another eight years with BDM corporation (a defense contractor) in suburban Washington, D.C. as manager of a combat simulation modeling team and then working energy programs. For next 25 years, at Shell Oil Company, Ron led research programs in E&P, refining, chemical and transportation. He holds 49 patents covering a wide range of technologies. Since 2010 he worked as a consultant to ExxonMobil Development Company; he served as lead investigator and project manager for subsea pipeline electric heating technology, in which he holds a number of patents. Ron Bass received his B.S., M.S., and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley specializing in Control Theory. He also serves on the board of the Houston History Alliance. He has written 20 entries for Alliance’s online Handbook of Houston, and has published a book, “Cycling Inside the Loop”, on how to see Houston’s fascinating history on a bicycle.
